Ashley appeared with her co-stars from High School Musical on the American Music Awards. The High School Musical Soundtrack was nominated for best album. - Has stated that she is extremely superstitious. - Has stated that each song on her album has a story behind it. - Ashley was in the audience of "Dancing With The Stars", along with her "High School Musical" co-stars, cheering on Monique Coleman when she danced the Mambo. She was also in the audience (Along with Zac Efron and "The Suite Life's" Kim Rhodes) when Monique danced the Rumba, and again the next week when she danced the Samba & the Disco. - Stated on Soap Talk that she made a pinky promise with Brittany Murphy to never give up. - Ashley made $250,000 after working on Donnie Darko. - Ashley makes $35,000 per episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. - Ashley made $1,000,000 from High School Musical. - When Brenda Song's mom had Breast Cancer, Ashley said it would be ok for Brenda to stay at her house for awhile. I am still young. - Ashley : I don't believe Lindsay Lohan is who the press makes her out to be, or that she's out every single night drinking and partying. - After high school, Ashley opted to take a year off. - Ashley claims that one of her most embarressing moments was when she was wearing Vanessa Anne Hudgens shirt and it was a little big and she was in a restuarant and she was doing a Shakira impression and her shirt fell down. - When Ashley is not working: she not only loves to sing in her downtime, go shopping, watch movies, or hang out with her friends; but she also loves to relax and sometimes knit. - Ashley : I do like to read. I think it's really important. It's awesome, because it relaxes you. You just put yourself into that book and pretend you're that person in that experience. I read anywhere I can. I love to read in the car. When I'm rehearsing and working, I love to go in my dressing room and read. - Ashley : I have a really good ear with music. I can play piano by ear, which means I can listen to a song and play it on the piano. Melodies just kind of come up in my head. I have a voice teacher who showed me how to write lyrics. - Ashley Tisdale watched Mean Girls with Rachel McAdams to prepare her for the role Sharpay in High School Musical. - In 2001 she made her big screen debut in the movie Donnie Darko which starred Maggie & Jake Gyllenhall and James Duvall. - Ashley has known Raven since she was three.
